The Department of Culture of the City of Furtei in collaboration with the Municipal Library and the cooperative Infomouse invites you to the presentation of the work of Alberto Cauli entitled Ernesto Campanelli - Life and enterprises in a Trasvolatori.
The author traces the life and deeds of the great Sardinian Trasvolatori which was recently named Airport Fenosu in Oristano.
Campanelli Ernesto was born in Nuoro April 12, 1891, lived all his early youth in Oristano until the outbreak of the First World War. Died July 18, 1944 traffic accident in Formia, near Naples.
In 1909 he enlisted in the Royal Navy and took part in the Country Libya in 1911 and the subsequent Italo-Turkish War of 1911-1912. Will be awarded the Commemorative Medal of the Italo-Turkish War (established by Royal Decree No. 1342 of November 21, 1912).
